West Coast Swing in Edinburgh

West Coast Swing is a sophisticated dance style that originated in the USA, and is now hugely popular in the UK. It is fun, fluid & expressive with a slotted shape & focus on connection between partners. Its appeal is to both those wishing to learn how to dance, and also those who have tried jive, swing or ceroc and are looking for something different. Best danced smooth & grounded, it allows creativity & musicality. Danced to a variety of music from R&B to country swing & from soul to pop, West Coast Swing has fancy footwork, funky body movements, body rolls, sassy moves and techniques. The class teachers are Lindsay Brown and Ross Carlin,
