Your Ski & Salsa holiday is an unforgettable break in the beautiful city of Granada. Enjoy sierra Nevada in the morning, Salsa class in the afternoon and Salsa at night in the hot Salsa clubs of Granada.
Granada is a magical city. With its breathtaking vistas, the Moorish ambience of the city and the dreamlike beauty of The Alhambra Palace, Granada can arouse even the most jaded visitor. With the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada as its backdrop, trickling fountains in every square, and rich Andalucian cuisine you cannot fail to come under its spell.
Unique features
Skiing in the Sierra Nevada: The coach taking you up to the Ski resort will leave
Granada at 9am. It will arrive in the resort at about 9.45am. You will have all day on the slopes to take skiing lessons with the local ski school, do some ski guiding with the Dance Holidays ski guide or do your own skiing. Lunch can be taken at one of the many restaurants within the ski resort. The coach will leave the resort at 4pm to return to Granada. For those wishing for detailed information on the Ski Resort in Sierra Nevada see: http://www.cetursa.es/
Some of you may wish to take a day off from skiing over the week and spend a relaxing day in Granada. There are various things to do in Granada: visit the Alhambra Palace, the impressive Cathedral, or the monument to the Reconquista; take a hot Arabic bath and back massage; visit the old monastery and baroque heaven; stroll up past the cave dwellings of Sacromonte.
Club Dance Holidays Ski Guiding (optional extra): This is by far the best value for money and strongly recommended. Two hours of ski guiding with our Ski Rep leading you around the best corners of the resort to find the most spectacular views and the best snow, also with skiing tips thrown in. They will possibly run two groups: ‘slow’ and ‘fast’ groups. This will depend on the skiing experience of the group. At the end of each ski day at 4pm, just before you leave to go back to Granada, the Ski Rep will board the coach to find out who wants to do ski guiding the next day. Minimum number for each ski guiding session is 5 people. Without this number, we are unable to run each ski guiding group.
Services offered by the ski resort (Ski passes, Ski hire, Storage of equipment, Ski lessons): These are bought in euros in cash directly from the ski station in the Sierra on your first day. Credit cards are accepted here. Ski passes: Your Ski Rep will talk to you about either buying a week ski pass or daily ski passes. Ski hire: boots, skis and poles. Storage: For a hassle-free week, we recommend that you store your ski equipment up at the Sierra ski hire shop. Ski lessons: Your Ski Rep will talk to you about these at the Overview of the Week session.
