After all, we want everyone to have the best possible experience on the dance floor, with plenty of opportunities to dance, meet new people, make friends and enjoy everything that makes our holidays so special. 

But this does create a little challenge. Sometimes, demand for a particular holiday is so high that we have to introduce a waiting list before bookings have even opened to general sale. And yes, we know just how frustrating that can be! 

Ceroc Medfest is a perfect example. When a holiday is so popular that places are in huge demand from the outset, it can feel rather disheartening to discover that you can’t book straight away. You might even wonder whether there’s any point in putting your name down on the waiting list at all. 

Well, we’re here to tell you something important… 

Don't give up before you've even started! 

The waiting list might move more slowly than you'd expect 

One thing we’ve noticed over the years is that waiting lists can be rather slow-moving during the first few months. 

We appreciate that, if you’ve put your name down and are eagerly waiting to hear from us, a few weeks or even months of silence can make you think that nothing is happening. 

But please don’t assume that’s the case! 

In our experience, the booking habits of our male guests can be a little… shall we say, relaxed! ? 

Ladies can be quick to secure their places, while the chaps sometimes take a little longer to make up their minds. Perhaps they’re checking their diaries, arranging time off work, deciding who else is going or simply taking their time before committing. 

Whatever the reason, bookings don't always happen at the same pace for everyone. And because maintaining a good gender balance is so important to the experience we offer, we sometimes have to wait for the right opportunities to open up before we can offer places to those on the list. 

So, if you haven’t heard from us for a while, it doesn't necessarily mean you've missed your chance.

Yes, really! 

Of course, every holiday is different, and we can never guarantee that every person will get a place. It depends on the number of cancellations, changes in bookings and, most importantly, how the gender balance develops as the departure date approaches. 

But time and time again, places become available as plans change and bookings evolve. And when they do, we work through the waiting list to offer those opportunities to people who are hoping to join us. 

That’s why we genuinely believe joining the waiting list is worth doing — even if it feels like a long shot at the beginning. 

You have absolutely nothing to lose by putting your name down, and you could end up securing a place on the very holiday you thought you’d missed out on.
